Satisfactory Monetary Settlement Reached in First Case of Intern Justice’s “Fair Wage Summer.”

Fashion Designer Norma Kamali and Intern Justice founder  New York attorney  Maurice Pianko and Jesse Strauss of Strauss Law PLLC jointly announce that a satisfactory monetary settlement has been reached in a lawsuit alleging that Erica van Rabenswaay was denied certain wages during her apprenticeship with Ms. Kamali’s companies.  The settlement terminates the action but may require approval by the court.

Mr. Pianko expressed his gratefulness to Ms. Kamali for “doing the right thing and resolving this matter quickly and efficiently.”  Mr. Pianko continued “the Fair Wage Summer is off to a great start, and we look forward to resolving many more of these cases over the coming months.”
